Artist Facing Content Director and Social Media Manager
Role DescriptionThis is a hybrid role located in New York, NY, for an Artist Facing Content Director and Social Media Manager. The role involves developing and overseeing content strategies in tandem with the Branding Director, creating (producing) and managing engaging digital content across all platforms, and implementing effective content marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the artist, coordinate social media, and work under the Branding Director to align content with the brand's vision and goals. Additional responsibilities include monitoring trends in the music industry and ensuring content delivers impact across various platforms.This structure requires at least one day a week to be spent in person with the artist to take content, and the remaining hours of the week to edit, post, and monitor said content. QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of the pop/jazz music industry and a passion for artist collaboration and promotion.Proficiency in Content Strategy and Content Marketing to align campaigns with brand objectives and drive audience engagement.Strong skills in Writing and Content Development to produce engaging and high-quality material across platforms.Experience with Content Management and maintaining consistent brand messaging across social media and digital platforms.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Proven expertise in leading projects related to digital media, data analysis of social metrics, and growth strategies.Experience with social media tools, digital platforms, and analytics to drive audience engagement and brand awareness.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience in the music or entertainment industry is a plus.Pay structure is up for negotiation, but may contain a flat rate determined by the requested number of deliverables, plus an hourly rate for in-person hours.
