Material Handler / Forklift Operator (1st Shift) *Pay: $18.00/hour* *Schedule: 1st Shift, M-F, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, could be slight variation* *Overtime Available* Job Description We are looking for a dependable *Material Handler / Forklift Operator* to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for moving materials, supporting production, preparing orders for shipment, and loading and unloading trucks. This is a great opportunity for someone with sit down *forklift, warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience* who is looking for a steady 1st shift position with overtime opportunities. Responsibilities * Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. * Pull, stage, package, and transfer coils, sheets, and other materials. * Load and unload trucks, customer vehicles, and freight using a forklift. * Pull and prepare finished products for shipment. * Receive, count, label, and stock incoming materials. * Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records. * Deliver materials and supplies to production areas as needed. * Inspect forklift and material-handling equipment before use and report issues. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Follow all company safety rules and procedures. * Work overtime as needed. Qualifications * Previous *sit down forklift or warehouse experience *required. * Experience in *material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory, or manufacturing*. * Ability to safely operate a forklift and move materials. * Good attention to detail and ability to accurately count and record inventory. * Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. * Ability to work overtime when needed.
