A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in a hospital setting. This role involves working with patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, offering expert rehabilitation support to enhance communication and swallowing functions.Key Responsibilities:Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in acute rehabilitation patients.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Document patient progress accurately and comply with hospital protocols.Educate patients and families on treatment plans and strategies for communication improvement.Qualifications and Experience:Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience in acute rehabilitation or hospital settings preferred.Strong knowledge of therapy techniques for communication and swallowing disorders.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.Location: Situated in El Paso, TX, this position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant border city known for its rich cultural heritage and sunny climate.
