Hoist Mechanic

Zachry is currently seeing a Hoist Mechanic for their Maintenance Site, CP Chem, loated in Pasadena, TX. Hoist Mechanic will inspect, service, and repair hoists and cranes. Their responsibilities include: Assessing the hoist: Hoist mechanics perform a thorough inspection to identify any damage or wear and tear. Repairing the hoist: Hoist mechanics may disassemble parts, replace or repair damaged components, lubricate moving parts, and make adjustments. Testing the hoist: After repairs are completed, hoist mechanics test the hoist to ensure it operates safely and effectively. This may include load testing, operational testing, and safety checks. Maintaining safety: Hoist mechanics ensure that safety policies outlined by OSHA, ASME, and the manufacturer are maintained. Reading blueprints: Hoist mechanics read blueprints and drawings to understand the layout of the building and its structures. Troubleshooting: Hoist mechanics troubleshoot equipment problems. Performing preventative maintenance: Hoist mechanics perform preventative maintenance on the hoist.
