About Position: Persistent Systems is looking for a sales hunter with strong business development experience to build a focused market strategy and implement pro-active sales activities. The individual would be responsible for identifying and growing net-new business and new pipeline in the Retail and CPG space. Requires strong understanding of market, segments and competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and apply the sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with technology competency teams. Role: New Business Development – Consumer Tech Experience: Minimum 20 Years of Experience What You'll Do: This strategic executive sales position will develop and lead the sales strategy for strategic & targeted accounts to drive revenue & acquire new logos through software engineering services. Shape and nurture relationships with the key stakeholders & decision makers such as : Chief Technology Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Product Officer etc. Manage legal and financial aspects of deals, maintain ongoing relationships with client representatives to ensure open communications, and ultimately continue and growth of the business. Provide accurate sales forecasts; maintain accurate and timely contact and sales pipeline information. Leverage market knowledge and customer feedback to enhance Persistent’s strategy, positioning, solutions, and marketing efforts. Be on top of trends, business drivers and the corresponding technology solutions required. Own client presentations, proposals and negotiations besides the sales funnel across the entire sales process. Create detailed account plans and sales road maps. Maintain a visible presence with targeted firms and personally close key deals. Own the sales funnel across the entire sales process. Expertise You'll Bring: Proven technology sales and business development executive with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience (Hunter) capacity; exemplary track record of acquiring new logos/clients. Experience in selling strategic technology, business consulting, or strategic services in Consumer Tech ISV and DNVB sector. Strong record of growing sales and exceeding quotas, with deals sizes in the range of $15M – 20M. Experience in and deep understanding of the Consumer Tech and DNVB market Proven experience of selling product engineering services backed by strong prospect and closing skills.
