Commercial Superintendent

OverviewOur client is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day field leadership, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. Ground-up commercial construction experience is strongly preferred.ResponsibilitiesManage daily jobsite operations for commercial construction projectsCoordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveriesEnforce jobsite safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environmentMonitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflictsEnsure construction work is completed per plans, specifications, and quality expectationsConduct regular jobsite walks and inspectionsCommunicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, and inspectorsMaintain daily reports, documentation, and field recordsSupport project closeout and punch list completionRequirementsApproximately 5 years of commercial construction experienceGround-up commercial project experience preferredExperience with office building construction is a plusStrong understanding of construction sequencing and field operationsAbility to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate tradesStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsWhy Join Our ClientThis opportunity offers the chance to join a well-established regional contractor with a strong reputation built over decades in the Louisiana market.
