Role Description PMC is seeking a motivated and skilled full-time RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Hammond, LA. This on-site role involves collaborating with the Director of Nursing to ensure comprehensive and quality care for residents. Daily responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, developing and reviewing care plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, assisting with clinical audits, and coordinating nursing care delivery. The RN-ADON will also serve as a resource for staff, support performance improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of excellence within the facility. Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising nursing staff and coordinating day-to-day clinical operations.Knowledge of nursing care practices, patient assessment, and care plan development for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, including compliance and quality standards for long-term care facilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide mentorship, address staff concerns, and foster collaboration.Proficient in clinical auditing, performance improvement initiatives, and conflict resolution.Current RN license in the state of Louisiana and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).Previous ADON or leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is highly desirable.Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with PMC’s values and mission.
