Engineering Manager ($120k-$140k/yr)

Express Professionals is hiring an automotive engineering manager to lead a team of technicians, machinists and engineers. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering strategy, product & process development, cost optimization and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesLead/mentor/coach a team of engineers and highly skilled technicians.Create a technical strategy, develop engineering priorities and adhere to a budget.Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics.Communicate team goals with staff members.Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study.8+ years of automotive experience.3+ years in an engineering management/leadership role.Tier 1 automotive experience and in depth understanding of PPAP, APQP and the like.Strong leadership and technical decision-making skills.
