The Creamies brand is positioned for continued growth with regional distribution at Walmart, Kroger, Associated Foods, Sam’s Club, and Costco, to name just a few.We are looking to hire a Sales Director. This position is responsible for all sales and revenue for the Creamies brand. In this role, you will be accountable for growing distribution as well as maximizing existing account relationships.If you meet the following criteria, collaborate well with others, and love to sell healthy and delicious food, we’d love to hear from you.The Role – Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs the Sales Director, you will focus on growing our business with grocers such as Albertson’s, Costco, Smart & Final, Walmart, and WinCo. You will visit headquarter locations and work to build relationships with national buyers.Responsibilities include:Actively manage and grow our business at our direct accounts through regular merchant interaction, solid promotion and business planning, and improvements in assortment and merchandising.Lead and manage your broker network for maximum performance in distribution gains, promotional effectiveness and efficiency, and merchandising execution.Collaborate with the in-house marketing team to create compelling, fact-based sales presentations that effectively position Creamies to attain and maintain new distribution.Where appropriate, develop joint business plans that include merchandising and shopper plans that grow Creamies market share and category growth.Leverage analytical tools to perform account analysis and take action on insights you uncover.The Skills – Ideal CandidateYou should have 5+ years of selling experience in CPG, preferably food, including both direct and brokered selling. You must be comfortable drawing insights from data and able to craft a narrative to support our brand’s initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with demonstrated achievements in a fast-growth environment.Qualifications include:Proven track record of growing distribution and dollar sales while managing trade spendExperience selling to grocer accounts required; preference for those with natural channel experienceVery strong presentation and communication skills, including PowerPointIntensely goal and KPI-driven, creative problem solverTrack record of taking initiative in ambiguityExcellent organization skillsAt least 3 years of experience managing brokers, with examples of improving their effectivenessSolid skills in Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, or other similar syndicated dataBachelor’s degree preferredAbout the Creamies BrandThe Creamies brand is a top-selling regional player in the Ice Cream Novelty category.
