Commercial Construction Superintendent

Summit Construction Management Group is currently seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to work on projects in the state of Florida, Pinellas/Hillsborough Counties. Summit Construction Management Group is a commercial development and construction company based in Central and North Florida. We have over 30 years experience designing & building high rise class-A self storage, educational facilities, and municipal projects. Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities Supportive Project Managers and Directors of Construction Safe work environment Drug-Free 9-10 month project timelines Job Description With 5 years minimum experience as a lead project Superintendent, the ideal candidate will be able to fully understand the full scope of the project's plans, as well as initiate and follow through with each step in order to ensure that all deadlines are met. Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent on major commercial construction projects is required for this position, and knowledge of commercial construction codes is preferred. Preferred experience to include: commercial construction, ground-up build, tilt-wall, municipality experience is a plus. In addition, the ideal candidate is responsible for: Establishing a safe, accident free job site that runs on or ahead of schedule. Assisting the project team in scheduling, developing, and implementing project plans and procedures, working documents and standards to ensure project goals are achieved Feeling comfortable in a fast paced environment that is physically demanding Interfacing with all on-site subcontractors as required, to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety, scheduling and achieving schedules in support of overall project objectives.
