Restaurant Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations & lead our team to success in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, managing staff, creating schedules and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service. Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Coach and train FOH staff to improve workflow and overall customer experience. Utilize POS systems (Toast) for transaction management and reporting. Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management. Handle cash management procedures including cash handling and reconciliation. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant premises including kitchen management. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATIONS. You will be the front-line person who will handle all guest complaints & feedback. The person who takes this role must be very level-minded and be able to control emotions at all times. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively. Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining experiences is preferred. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Ability to do every job in the FOH if needed (bartend, run food, bus tables-- when needed). Experience with shift management, supervising staff, and team dynamics is essential. Culinary experience or formal hospitality management education is a plus.
