This position involves operating computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The role includes performing additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.Job Details:Schedule: Rotating shift, up to 12 hours per day, Sunday through Wednesday, with on-call rotation for weekend coverage. The department operates 24/7.Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)), certification in advanced CT modality (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California), Basic Life Support (BLS or equivalent) certification from an approved vendor, venipuncture certification (preferred in California and Oregon), and all required vaccinations.Additional Information: The position entails producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images, utilizing PACS and teleradiology systems, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
