Sales Manager – Refinery & Petrochemical Remote – Gulf Coast Region | High-Growth Chemical BusinessA well-established and growing industrial chemical and industrial services company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead strategic account growth across refinery and petrochemical customers in North America and selected international markets.This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established customer base while driving new business growth in a technically sophisticated, relationship-driven market. You’ll work directly with refinery operators, engineering teams, procurement leaders, and executive stakeholders to deliver high-value chemical service solutions that improve plant performance and reliability.We’re looking for a commercially driven professional with strong refinery industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build long-term customer partnerships.What You’ll Be DoingManage and grow key refinery and petrochemical accounts.Develop strategic sales plans to increase revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and identify new opportunities.Lead the full commercial process from prospecting through negotiation and contract close.Partner closely with technical and operations teams to deliver responsive, high-quality customer support.Build trusted relationships across engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership functions within customer organizations.Support forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial planning activities.Lead and mentor a small commercial support team while driving a high-performance culture.Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events.What We’re Looking ForStrong experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within refining, petrochemical, specialty chemicals, or industrial services environments.Proven success growing customer accounts and securing new business in refinery/ petchem.Ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders.Experience managing long sales cycles and strategic customer relationships.Direct Engineering experience, Education (BS+) or both.Prior exposure to refinery processes, reactor operations, or process chemicals, is highly valued.Experience leading or mentoring commercial teams.International business exposure is beneficial but not essential.Why This Opportunity Stands OutEstablished customer relationships and strong market presence.Opportunity to influence commercial strategy and drive measurable growth.High-autonomy role with direct impact on business performance.Collaborative technical and operational support structure.Competitive base salary, uncapped commission potential, and comprehensive benefits.Remote flexibility with approximately ~20% travel.Candidates should be located within the Gulf Coast region.For a confidential discussion or to apply directly, please apply directly or get in touch with Oliver Davies at Southall Sage.
