Speech & Language Pathology Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree (which includes at least 24 semester hours of educational requirements for assistants).
State licensure is required.
Superficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the department, some knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurology is necessary.
Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience in pediatrics preferred.
MAJOR GOAL
To provide a high quality of patient care and customer service to patients referred to B & V Thera-Pro Associates, Corp. Provide family centered services including treatment under direct supervision of a supervising speech language pathologist with a clinical certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
