Interns will have exposure to Neomorph's mission, values, and collaborative culture.Internship Project and Responsibilities:Neomorph is seeking a summer intern to join the Research Operations this summer. This role will support the day-to-day operations of a dynamic research environment, ensuring that laboratory activities run efficiently and without interruption. This role provides hands-on exposure to lab operations, automation support, vendor coordination, and facility development. The intern will work closely with the Research Operations team and scientists while contributing to the design and build-out of facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily laboratory operations, including maintaining lab organization, equipment readiness, and supply coordinationAssist scientists with basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and automation systemsCoordinate with external vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service requestsTrack orders and manage inventory of lab supplies and consumablesMaintain documentation related to lab operations and vendor interactionsSupport facility design and build-out efforts at 5810 and 5820 Nancy Ridge DriveAssist with lab setup, equipment installation, and space organizationContribute to process improvements for operational efficiencyRequirementsCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology, Engineering, Operations, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsExposure to laboratories or research environmentsFamiliarity with lab equipment or automation systemsExperience with inventory or procurement processesProficiency in Excel, Word, and AdobeSkills and CompetenciesProblem-solving mindset and willingness to learnAbility to work cross-functionallyStrong ownership and accountabilityAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentProfessionalism with internal and external stakeholdersWhat You Will GainHands-on experience in research operations and lab managementExposure to lab automation and troubleshootingExperience supporting facility build-outsInsight into vendor management and procurementOpportunity to work in a collaborative research environmentWhy Intern at Neomorph?As a mission-driven biotech company, Neomorph is committed to scientific innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity.
