Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for total nursing care of residents assigned to the unit including but not limited to: (medication administration, glucometer checks, insulin administration, wound treatments, complete charting, and documentation, vitals, etc.)Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of oneself, staff, and residentsRespond to emergency situations using nursing judgment, activating appropriate alarm systems, contacting responsible personnel and/or first respondersReport any allegations of abuse and/or neglect accordingly by following the chain of command and knowing how to contact the compliance hotlineAbide by HIPAA regulations and report any violationsReview documentation, enter new orders, and report any changes to the MD/APRNObtain lab specimens: (blood samples; urine, stool, and sputum cultures; Covid nasal specimens) Qualifications: · Active RN license in KY and/or compact state unexpired and in good standing · BLS certified: Facility provides recertification on site Experience: · At least 1-year long-term care experience is preferred but not required · At least 1-2 years RN experience Full-time employees are eligible for individual and family health, dental, and vision insurance; 401K; life insurance; paid time off; sick time
