Brightwell Behavioral Health is dedicated to being a best practice psychiatric inpatient hospital that provides short term care and treatment to seniors with psychiatric diagnoses. Brightwell Behavioral Health provides patients with compassionate and comprehensive treatment for all their psychological, behavioral, physical and socialization needs.
This person will be a full-time, goal-oriented, customer service-driven, and motivated Hospital Administrator. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, implementing and managing the hospital administration processes for all departments. Under the direction of the Corporate President and CEO, the Hospital Administrator is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the facility, managing and developing staff, ensuring high quality care, sound fiscal operations, and maintaining a strong referral base, and compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations, while continually monitoring the facility's services and delivery systems.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, Business Administration, or Finance. Master’s Degree preferred. RN or MSW preferred.
Experience: Minimum (5) five years’ experience in healthcare

Knowledge of psychiatric and/or behavioral health management practices, operations, as well as fiscal management and marketing strategy.

Computer experience is essential, must be especially fluent in Excel and other Office products.
Familiarity with medical terminology.

Knowledge of HIPAA and using confidential information appropriately.

Working Conditions
The employee may be exposed to blood borne pathogens, infectious diseases, and other hazardous wastes, (i.e. Hepatitis, Aids, Tuberculosis). Proper precautions will be taught and provided by the hospital. The position requires a considerable amount of walking, stooping, pulling, lifting, feeling, hearing, and repetitive motions. Ability to move quickly in response to physician and patient needs, to stand for long periods, occasional overhead and low reaching, and to exert force of up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Patient care activities may require the ability to lift of up to 30 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 100 lbs. rarely.
