Marketing Associate
This entry level position will support marketing activities and marketing team, including assisting with project pursuits, events and tradeshows, graphic design, advertising, public relations, social media, writing, data organization, and research.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express). Illustrator experience is a plus;
Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Deltek, or Cosential;
Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills;
Developed skills (written, oral, and listening) to effectively communicate with a diverse audience;
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time constraints;
Understanding of basic marketing principles;
Knowledge of software/technologies for developing client presentations/communications;
Understanding SOQ/proposal production, including digital and printing/binding;
Working knowledge of business, CRM, digital, video production, and graphic design software;
Attention to detail and quality of work; and
Ability to work well with various types of personalities and work styles.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Marketing:
Gather research data related to competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience;
Monitor online procurement websites and track potential projects;
Monitor online and print sources, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs;
Contribute to CRM maintenance and data entry related to clients, consultants, personnel, and mailing lists; maintain content library, including prior proposals, boilerplates, and visuals;
Embrace and implement brand standards and guidelines;
Assist with graphics, writing, editing, and proofreading;
Coordinate awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements;
Coordinate firm/company special events with office managers and employee engagement team;
Assist in maintaining systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists; and
Support the marketing and project development teams as needed.
Proposals and Qualifications:
Assist in developing pursuit plans and client outreach activities ahead of RFP release;
Prepare or assemble written and visual information for SOQs/proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print;
Identify and monitor SOQ/proposal criteria ensure the response is fully compliant;
Assist with scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements;
Gather content from team and consultants as needed; and
Assist with the production and arrange for on-time delivery of SOQs/proposals.
Social Media/Website:
Assist with maintaining online presence;
Collaborate with the marketing team to determine social media campaigns; and
Assist with updating website content.
Public Relations:
Track publication, association, and community event postings.
