Job Title: Service Manager - Refrigeration & HVACJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Austin, TXAn established commercial refrigeration service company is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead service operations, support a team of field technicians, and serve as a key operational partner to ownership as the company continues to grow.This role is ideal for someone who rose through the ranks as a technician and understands both the technical and operational aspects of refrigeration service. The owner currently fills this role and is seeking a trusted professional to take ownership of day-to-day service operations, allowing him to focus on other areas of the business.The company performs 100% service work, specializing primarily in commercial refrigeration (approximately 80%) with additional HVAC service (20%). They do not perform any hot side work, allowing the team to stay focused on refrigeration and HVAC systems.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned refrigeration professional who enjoys leading a team while remaining connected to the technical side of the business.About the RoleThe Service Manager will oversee daily service operations, provide technical leadership to technicians, and maintain strong relationships with customers.This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational coordination with field support.
