JOB SUMMARY:Candidate will use various data analysis methods and tools to drive business insight, streamline processes, promote efficiency, identify market trends, and provide reporting on key metrics for the Customer Support organization.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform data analysis via various analytic techniques to gain insights from data to support business objectivesCollect, manage, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data while leveraging tools to develop and maintain curated data sets for use in analysisDevelop and maintain data reports within Power BI and other tools using query languages and formula libraries such as SQL and DAX to track key metricsCreate Alteryx Workflows to blend data and automate tasksUse data analysis tools and techniques to support forecasting and market analysisProvide recommendations to business leaders to support business objectivesWork cross functionally to improve data quality by assisting with Data Governance efforts and implementing processes to maintain data quality standardsInterface with other data professionals throughout the organization to enable cross functional growth within analytics capabilitiesEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related fieldQUALIFICATIONS:Drive and desire to excel in an autonomous environmentBias for action – ability to take initiative and act on curiositiesHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projectsApplicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws.  If a position requires access to information controlled under U.S. regulations applicant must be eligible to meet any requirements to access controlled information. The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
