Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner based in Portland, OR. The Claims Examiner will oversee and manage workers’ compensation claims, carefully reviewing documentation, conducting investigations, coordinating medical treatments, and ensuring timely resolution while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. The role requires regular interaction with claimants, employers, and medical providers to provide exceptional customer service and facilitate efficient claims processing. Qualifications Experience in Claims Handling, Claims Management, and Workers’ Compensation processesKnowledge of Insurance structures and Employee BenefitsStrong Customer Service abilities, including communication and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented, organized, and capable of effective time managementFamiliarity with regional workers’ compensation regulations and processes is a plusProficiency in using claims management systems and relevant softwareHigh school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or relevant certifications preferredAbility to work collaboratively in an office setting and maintain professional relationships
