Programmer/Analyst – SQL & ETL - SSIS

About the CompanyWe are seeking a seasoned Programmer/Analyst with strong SQL and ETL development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in application development and support, with a focus on MS SQL Server and SSIS-based ETL processes. This role also requires hands-on experience in production support, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical financial applications.About the RoleThis role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects, as well as building and optimizing ETL workflows using SSIS to support data integration and transformation.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objectsBuild and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS to support data integration and transformationMonitor and support production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolutionCollaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsPerform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issuesParticipate in performance tuning and optimization of database systemsDocument technical processes and maintain system knowledge base Qualifications5+ years of experience in application development and supportProficiency in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL development using SSIS2+ years experience with C#1+ year experience in VB.net1+ year of PythonBatch and Groovy ScriptingKnowledge of AWSStrong understanding of relational database design and data modelingExperience in production support, including incident management and job monitoringExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
