Bolton & Menk is looking to add an Civil Project Manager - Water Resources to our team in Mankato and start leading a variety of interesting and complex stormwater quality, drainage design and modeling projects for our growing list of municipal clients throughout the Midwest. With over 75 years of experience, Bolton & Menk specializes in providing community infrastructure solutions across the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond.As a Water Resources Project Manager, you will be managing and leading a team of Engineers and Technicians to complete drainage design, plan development, and modeling for municipal and transportation projects, taking your projects from preliminary design through construction. You will be responsible for workload management, planning, scheduling, training, and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel. Other responsibilities include marketing, business development, contract and budget management, and client outreach.We are looking for candidates who are detail oriented and self-motivated and can encourage, lead, and grow a successful project team. This position is an opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge to a variety of projects and develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various communities and agencies. This position serves mainly Southern MN with opportunities to support projects as needed throughout all of our offices.What You Will Be Doing:Hydrologic & hydraulic modeling for water resources, municipal, and transportation projectsStorm drain and culvert modeling and designStormwater quality Improvement modeling and designConstruction plan development & productionNPDES and MS4 Documentation and ComplianceFloodplain modeling and managementWetland and Stream Restoration modeling and designManage preliminary and final design and construction phase services for water resource projectsManagement of project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to multiple clientsManagement of other staff members and subconsultantsMarketing, business development, and client communicationWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent program from an accredited college8+ years of progressive engineering design and plan production experience2+ years of project management and team management experienceLicensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Minnesota, or ability to obtain within 6 monthsExcellent interpersonal written & verbal communication skillsExcellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skillsProven and effective supervisory and team leadership skills & experiencePossess a valid driver’s licenseSoftware skills including: GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, XPSWMM, SSA, SRH-2D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, P8, MIDSPreferred Skills & Experience:Masters Degree in Civil or Water Resources EngineeringCertified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or other Water Resources Specific certificationsFEMA, USACE, MNDNR, and Watershed District permittingArcGIS Pro skillsIntermediate AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Plan Production ExperienceExperience working with Minnesota 103E Drainage SystemsSanitary Sewer Modeling ExperienceBolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.Salary Range: $115,000 - $155,000 depending on years of experience and credentialsBolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
