Opportunity: RN - Med Surg TeleJob Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed • Patient ratio of 6:1 across all shifts • Float required when census is down across all facility campuses • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • First time travelers accepted • BLS certification required • Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed) • EPIC charting system experience required • Previous charge nurse experience preferred • Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients • 48 hours of orientation provided • Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS • Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, chest tube management, feeding tube care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and IV management • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Must complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start dateFacility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced patient care services across multiple specialties.
