Entry Level Quality Engineer

Visit pmmold.com to learn more. Key Responsibilities Support APQP activities and development of PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow. Assist in PPAP preparation and validation activities. Monitor SPC and analyze scrap/rework trends. Participate in 8D problem solving and corrective actions. Support customer complaints and supplier quality. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with standards. Requirements: Basic knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA. Ability to read engineering drawings. Excel/data analysis skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving. Strong communication skills. Attention to detail. Bilingual English and Spanish are a plus Reduction in defects and scrap. On-time PPAP completion. Corrective action effectiveness. Customer PPM performance. Qualifications Understand the inspection equipment accuracy and repeatability required for use during product verification. Has the ability to interpret customer drawings, parts lists and BOM’s, including GD&T expertise. Good Reporting Skills, including support of the Quality Management System (QMS). Has the ability to communicate with customer representatives (quality and engineering) to address concerns and assist with solving job-related problems, as applicable to quality. Can organize and prioritize job related duties. Has the ability to mentor quality technicians and shop personnel by sharing job related information provided by the customer. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. 1–2 years’ experience. We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
