Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered. Job Description Personally and through delegated duties, prepare all menu items for banquets. Specify and order all food for banquet functions. Responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of food products used in banquets. Ensure that all sanitation standards are consistently practiced by all members of the banquet prep staff. Ensure that all preventative and repair maintenance on all banquet equipment is completed. Maintain food and labor costs at an acceptable level. Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging. Qualifications Five (5) years of experience in the same or similar position preferred. Must be able to cook a variety of cuisines in a banquet setting. Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shift. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
