Job Title: Programs DirectorOrganization: Columbus Lowndes Chamber of CommerceLocation: Columbus, MississippiAnnual Salary: $45,000 The Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce is seeking a motivated, organized, and community-minded Programs Director to support and strengthen Chamber programs.The Programs Director will be responsible for:Planning, coordinating, and executing Chamber programsAssisting with sponsorship acquisition and sponsor communicationSupporting program development and increasing community participationUpdating website content as neededAssisting with basic graphic design needs, including flyers, social media graphics, and event materialsSupporting basic accounting functions, including reconciliations and QuickBooks entriesGrant writing and funding opportunitiesThe ideal candidate will have:Proficiency in social media and graphic design platforms, such as Canva and FacebookExperience updating WordPress websitesComputer proficiency Grant writing experienceAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesA professional and positive approach to working with members, sponsors, volunteers, and community partnersExperience in a nonprofit organization preferredThis is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Availability is required for some after-hours and weekend events.
