Senior Product Manager (Asset Manager)

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with deep asset management experience and a strong background working on financial investment platforms. This person will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, drive delivery, and support enhancements through data-informed decision-making.Job detailsRate: $60–80+/hr (DOE)Location: Boston, MASchedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remoteHours: 40 hours/weekType: W2 contract + benefitsDuration: ASAP through 12/31/26, with possible extension or full-time conversionMust-have backgroundDeep asset management expertise, especially in investment performance, attribution, and benchmark-related workExperience partnering closely with portfolio, performance, and risk teamsHands-on product ownership experience across requirements, backlog management, and delivery on investment platformsStrong comfort working with data, including SQL and some PythonPractical interest in using AI to improve analysis, documentation, and delivery outputsDomain expertiseStrong background in asset management or financial servicesExperience with investment performance, attribution, benchmarks, and related dataUnderstanding of front-, middle-, and back-office workflowsKnowledge of equities, fixed income, derivatives, ETFs, and mutual fundsProduct & delivery leadershipExperience managing product backlogs, requirements, and deliveryAbility to lead stakeholder sessions and translate needs into user stories and functional documentationExperience with agile delivery, sprint planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordinationAbility to communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearlyTechnical requirements & candidate profileStrong SQL skills for analysis, validation, and reconciliationComfort working directly with complex data; Python experience preferredExperience with BI or reporting tools, ideally Power BI5+ years as a business systems analyst or related roleAble to work independently and lead requirements gathering with limited oversightStrong communication skills across business and technical teamsInterest in AI and automation to improve delivery and documentationFor consideration please share your resume.
