Finance & Operations Specialist - Hybrid - 1 day/week on-siteThis is not a typical accounting roleWe're looking for a hands-on Finance & Operations Specialist to take ownership of bookkeeping and day-to-day financial operations in a small U.S. entity of an international medical company.You'll be the go-to person for everything related to finance - from managing QuickBooks and handling invoices to supporting operational processes and coordinating with international stakeholders.This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work remotely and 1 day per week on-site in Wake Forest, NC.What you'll be doingManage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks (GL, P&L, balance sheet accuracy)Process incoming and outgoing invoices, payments, and collectionsMonitor cash flow and ensure timely financial operationsOversee order intake and support end-to-end order processingMaintain Shopify and ensure proper integration with QuickBooksCoordinate with external tax advisors / CPAMonitor and respond to finance-related email accounts (customers, suppliers, warehouse)Handle weekly physical mail, including checks and related admin tasks• What we're looking for3-5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (daily use)Strong bookkeeping knowledge (GL, P&L, invoicing, reconciliation)Ability to work independently and take full ownership of finance processesHigh attention to detail and reliabilityFluent EnglishAbility to be on-site once per week in Wake Forest, NC Nice to haveExperience with Shopify or similar platformsBackground in small companies or standalone finance rolesExperience in regulated industries (e.g. medical devices) Not the right fit ifYou don't have hands-on QuickBooks experienceYou prefer highly specialized roles (e.g., only FP&A, only AP/AR)You're looking for a fully remote positionYou're not comfortable working independently in a one-person finance role What you can expectSalary range: USD 50,000 - 60,000A hybrid working model with flexibilityHigh ownership and autonomy in your roleDirect collaboration with international teamsA stable, growing business environment
