It’s a high-impact role with strong visibility and long-term growth.Why join us?Great benefitsPTOJob DetailsRole DescriptionThe Substation Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closeout of electrical substation construction projects. This role manages project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client coordination while leading internal teams and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring strong utility experience, field leadership, and coordination with owners, engineers, inspectors, and crews.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionManage substation construction projects from award through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plansCoordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractorsLead project kickoffs, progress meetings, and closeout meetingsEnsure scope alignment with contract documents and drawingsField & Team LeadershipWork closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crewsProvide direction and support to project engineers and coordinatorsResolve field issues, constructability challenges, and schedule conflictsMaintain strong communication between field and office teamsQualificationsRequired3+ years of project management experience in substation, utility, or heavy electrical constructionStrong understanding of substation construction practices and sequencingExperience managing schedules, budgets, and field operationsAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contractsStrong communication and leadership skillsValid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sitesInterested in hearing more?
