Job DescriptionAs a Technical Sales Representativeyou will drive growth by uncovering and securing new business opportunities. Using your technical and commercial knowledge, you will excel at expanding the market presence through prospecting and meeting with client influential stakeholders.What You Will DoCreate innovative technical solutions custom designed specifically for the client with the goal in mind to increase new business each year. Use your product development skills to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure timely completion of products and manage product specification and design to meet client's needs (cradle to grave). Oversee the initial stages of projects and sales, then transition responsibilities to customer relationship managers. Keep up to date with markets and industry trends to obtain new business and participate in annual operating forecasting plan. Provide consultative selling and technical support at customer locations and participate in industry trade shows and branding events.Use data-driven insights to enhance sales growth and contribute to team objectivesWhat Is NeededBachelor's degree in engineering or similar degree. 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineeringTechnical knowledge and industry experience with composite tubing & bearings and commercial experience preferred. Salesforce CRM, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) or similar CRM High energy consultative approach with excellent presentation skills; skilled at closing and negotiating deals. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets and adapting to market changes.Communicate product and service details to large audiences, prospective clients, engineers, vendors, etc. 60% travel expected: domestic and internationally along with participation in trade shows.Remote and can live in these states: WI, MI, IN, IL, OH, PA, KY, NY,NH, MA, RI, MD, DE, VT, ME, WV, VA, CT, NJSalary:$90-$130k + commissionQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or similar degree. 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineeringTechnical knowledge and industry experience with composite tubing & bearings and commercial experience preferred.
