Light Industrial - Warehouse Associate

Duration: 0-7+ MonthsShift: 1st Shift (M-F)GENERAL SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate ensures that our customers receive the correct parts, in the right quantity, at the right time and in a safe manner. The Warehouse Associate is essential to maintaining the physical plant.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Picking, packing and preparing shipments of customer orders within the same day with a 98% accuracy rate.- Load and unload delivery trucks daily- Utilize collaboration by sharing information and skills, assisting other team members, and adaptable to support other departments with meeting the needs of the business.- Keep a clean and safe work area.- Must participate in all mandatory safety training as offered.REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION: Position Specific Competencies / Experience:- Knowledgeable in typical leverage and maneuverability tools.- Knowledgeable of hazardous materials shipping procedures.- Must be able to stand for more than half time a given shift or Workday, in addition to walking/stooping/kneeling/climbing- Ability to lift or maneuver 40 lbs and use tools and equipment for products that weigh up to 100 lbs.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
