Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are looking for a LVN/LPN to work in our clients Skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. Responsibilities: Observes, reports, and documents/charting on patient conditions Administers medications in accordance with physician orders Takes and records temperatures, respiration, and pulse Sets up treatment trays, and prepares instruments and/or other equipment, as needed Maintains working knowledge of assigned patient’s conditions at all times Reviews reports from previous shifts to determine changes in the status of residents and assigns various duties to C.N.A.s or other nursing personnel Turns over accurate records and ensures oncoming shift nurses are updated Responsible for notifying the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) and/or Administrator of changes in patient condition or other job-related problems Position Requirements: Valid California LVN license Must have min 1 year of experience as LVN in long term care/snf - preferred Knows PCC (point click care) - required Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association, only accepted) Outstanding communication skills Positive, professional, and calm demeanor in all work-related situations Open Shifts: NOC 11p-8a , Thur- Sat Start Date: Aug 22nd mix if 8hrs and 12hrs Specialty: LVN Setting: SNF Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Local Contract , and Per Diem Pay range: $41-$45 per hour, Paid Weekly!
