Lead Carpenter

Lead Carpenter Nancy Built is seeking a full-time Lead Carpenter to join our team. Responsibilities: Responsible for the lead carpenter experience of the project. This includes: Assess project needs and oversee construction of new or remodeled homes. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Project Supervisor, and other subcontractors to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner. Perform all tradesman duties including but not limited to; framing, framing and sub-contracting, finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, plumbing, and HVAC. Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Supervisor to ensure that the job is completed to code standards. Ensure that all tradesmen are on time, on task, and are following company policies and procedures. Ensure that all homes are in compliance with local building codes and state codes. Ensure that the job site is clean and organized at all times. Work with the Project Manager and other subcontractors to ensure that the job is completed in a timely manner. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a carpenter on residential construction projects; minimum of 2 years as lead carpenter on residential construction projects.Must be able to perform all required tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to read plans (or have someone read you). Must be able to take direction from others. Must be able to work independently. Must be punctual. Must have basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel & Word).
