Position: Customer Service AdministratorReports To: Customer Service DirectorFLSA Status: Non-exemptSUMMARY: The First Tactical Customer Service Administrator provides day-to-day support to the Customer Service team by handling administrative tasks, managing order entry, and ensuring timely communication with customers. This role is essential in maintaining accurate data, improving response times, and supporting seamless customer experience. This position requires a high level of flexibility and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Support the Customer Service Representative (CSR) team with daily administrative tasks Accurately enter and manage customer orders in internal systems Respond to customer feedback, website reviews, and general inquiries in a timely and professional manner Follow up with customers regarding order status, backorders, and shipment updates Maintain and update customer records and data to ensure accuracy Assist with internal follow-up by coordinating with departments such as warehouse, sales, and accounting Help track customer issues and support timely resolution to ensure a positive customer experience Support data entry, reporting, and general administrative functions Perform other duties as assigned to support business needsExperience/Education High school diploma or equivalent required 1–3 years of administrative or customer service experience preferred Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong data entry and 10-key skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications Strong email etiquette and professional written communication skills Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and prioritize effectively Experience with CRM systems is a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK CONDITIONS: Work is primarily performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions Position is primarily seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods of time Frequently required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, or bend to access files or office supplies Requires repetitive hand movements and fine motor coordination, including typing and data entry Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds, such as office suppliesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
