Job DescriptionHuman Resources ManagerPine Hill ManufacturingPosition Type: Full-timeReports to: CEOCompany Overview:Pine Hill Manufacturing is a leading producer of trailers and custom manufacturing solutions, operating out of two facilities in Gap and Gordonville, PA. We have approximately 100 employees, split between skilled technicians and craftsperson’s in manufacturing, and sales and service staff at our retail location. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of our human resources function and to help lead the organization through a transition from ADP Workforce Now to UKG.Role Overview: The HR Manager will be responsible for all human resources functions across both locations, ensuring that Pine Hill Manufacturing remains compliant with all applicable labor laws and HR best practices. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, training, and development. This role is key to maintaining a strong company culture and fostering employee engagement. The HR Manager will also play a crucial role in the current transition from ADP Workforce Now to UKG, coordinating efforts with Kelly Benefits to ensure a smooth implementation by January 2025.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process, including developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, utilization of Predictive Index, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll and benefits administration (including the transition to UKG), ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with Kelly Benefits to streamline the benefits administration process.HR Policy Development: Ensure that all HR policies are current and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop and implement new policies as necessary to support the company’s strategic goals.Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and employment regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, and FLSA. Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance. The HR Manager is an ex officio member of the Pine Hill Safety Committee.Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth, safety protocols, and leadership development.HRIS Transition: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (Kelly Benefits) on the transition from ADP Workforce Now to UKG, ensuring that the new system is fully functional and supports company needs.Company Events: Plan, administrate, and lead company events such as company breakfasts, company picnic, and employee gatherings.Qualifications:5+ years of management experience, ideally within a manufacturing or service-oriented environment.Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now and/or UKG preferred).Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Proven ability to manage HR transitions and implementations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Preferred Qualifications:SHRMCP/SHRMSCP or PHR/SPHR certification.Experience working with Kelly Benefits or similar benefit administration partners.Previous experience in a manufacturing or blue-collar work environment.
