This role supports both wired and wireless infrastructure and ensures reliable network performance across multiple sites.ScopeExperienced professional who independently manages end-to-end network field operations. Applies strong technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support infrastructure across diverse environments.This is a 4 months role with possibility of extension.What You'll DoProvide onsite support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment (Layer 1 & 2)Diagnose and resolve network issues across hardware, connectivity, and infrastructurePerform equipment installs, repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenanceMaintain accurate documentation, inventory, and service recordsSupport IDF spaces, UPS systems, and network hardware lifecycle managementCollaborate with internal teams on system improvements and infrastructure projectsAnalyze network issues and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliabilityDeliver clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport incident response, including after-hours and on-call coverageAssist with user training and documentation as neededBasic Qualifications1–3+ years of experience in network services, field services, or IT supportHands-on experience troubleshooting network hardware and connectivity issuesStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (protocols, cabling, infrastructure)Ability to read technical diagrams and service documentationStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environmentPreferredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Certifications such as Network+, CCNA/CCT, or ITILAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel between sites and support field operationsParticipation in on-call rotation (24/7 support as needed)Rate: $40-45/hrSycomp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
