Job Description Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Direct Hire LME position with a unionized company located in Portland, OR.The person in this position will be in charge of troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, adjusting and installing as well as comfortable with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. We'd love to schedule a conversation.ResponsibilitiesAble to replace, repair, and adjust to manufacturer specifications:Bearings, sealsv-belts, chainsAir valves, hydraulic valvesPumps, couplingsProcess rolls (Corrugating, pressure, glue, etc.)All machinery partsTroubleshoot and repair mobile equipmentPerform all jobs safely and properly.Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.Operate and maintain a high pressure boiler, 200 PSI, and 150 HP.Maintain and repair mechanical fixed equipment as well as mobile equipment (forklifts).Fabricate, repair, and install equipment.Maintain and repair building.Communicate with supervisor and production team on maintenance issues.Be able and willing to accept responsibility for maintaining the plant on a shift working independently, and without other help.Able to manage paper work for work orders, PM’s, and stores inventories as required.Other duties as specified by supervisor.QualificationsWeldingArc (Mig & Stick)Gas CuttingPreventive maintenanceOil Viscosity’sDifference and usage of greasesApplication and proper amount of lubricantInspection for worn, broken, out-of-line and missing partsRead and understand machine manuals, and troubleshooting manualsParts identificationOperating shop machines/toolsGrindersDrill PressPrecision tools: micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, etcCurrent LME or Electricians License / OregonScheduleMonday- Friday11:00pm-7:00amPay$70,000 to $85,000/year DOE (shift differential will also apply)Benefits401(k)MedicalDentalVisionPTOCompany DescriptionOver the decades, we’ve built up an extensive network of successful and well-paying industrial companies that are always looking for talented team members.
