Industrial Mechanical Installer/Pipefitter

Job Description Are you looking for consistent hours with overtime and a company that keeps you working year-round? We're hiring experienced Industrial Pipefitters. We are a Process Piping/Mechanical contractor specializing in the design and installation of manufacturing systems. We are looking for experienced tradesmen to install various systems such as tower water, chiller water, pumping stations, compressed air and more. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a team environment looking for longevity and opportunity within a great company! Must be able to travel to work-site locations in and out of state. Pay based on experience.Responsibilities:Install, maintain, modify, and repair all mechanical pipe installations, working with PVC pipe and tubingMeasure and cut various sizes of pipe and tubing to required angle\length using pipe power toolsThreading and assembling of all types of pipes and tubing including PVC, Copper, and Black PipePrepare, fabricate, install and fit pipe to specificationInstall valves, hangers, supports and flanges in mechanical piping systems according to plans applicable specificationAdhere to all quality and safety codes ensuring a zero-accident philosophy is incorporated into all aspects of construction operationsQualifications:At least 4+ years of mechanical pipe fitting, HVAC, or plumbing experience.Must be mechanically inclinedFamiliar with basic construction codes and safety regulationsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillMust be conscientious about safety at all timesMust provide your own hand toolsExcellent hand/eye coordinationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsMust be able to read measurements and use basic math skillsPhysical Requirements of Position:This position is required to do extensive walking through factory environment production areas.Must have the ability to independently lift and carry objects safely that weigh up to 20 lbs. routinely, 50 lbs. frequently, and 80 lbs. occasionallyPossess the ability to work skillfully with both hands constantlyAbility to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffoldingAbility to work from extreme heightsMust be able to travel to the job sites as assigned in state and out of state Company DescriptionIndustrial Technology Services and Rocktech Systems offer a wide variety of services to the manufacturing industry.
