You’ll work alongside experienced industry professionals in an environment that values accountability, initiative, and innovation.What You’ll OwnUpstream Oil & Gas AccountingLead and manage complex E&P accounting matters, including:Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and owner accountingRoyalty accounting and paymentsDD&A methodologiesAsset impairmentsAsset Retirement Obligations (ARO)Compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting standardsMonthly Close & Financial ReportingOversee the monthly close process from start to finish, including:Flash reportingFinancial statement preparation and reviewAccount reconciliationsJournal entries and adjusting entriesFinancial analysis and variance reportingGeneral Accounting LeadershipManage and mentor accounting staff responsible for:Accounts PayableAccounts ReceivableGeneral LedgerBalance sheet reconciliationsMonth-end accounting operationsTreasury & CreditSupport company liquidity and financial health by:Assisting with cash management and treasury reportingEstablishing and maintaining credit records and relationshipsTax CoordinationOversee staff responsible for:Oil & gas property tax calculations and filingsRelated reporting and compliance processesInternal Controls & Process ImprovementStrengthen the accounting function through:Development and enforcement of internal controlsProcess optimization and automation initiativesContinuous improvement of accounting policies and proceduresIdentification and mitigation of operational and financial riskTeam LeadershipProvide leadership and accountability across:JIB AccountingRevenue AccountingAccounts PayableWhat We’re Looking ForStrong experience in upstream oil & gas accountingDeep understanding of E&P financial operations and reportingProven leadership experience managing accounting teamsAbility to operate strategically while remaining detail-orientedStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience improving processes and internal controls in a growing environmentCPA Required Salary: $180K-200K, depending on experience #INMAY2026#LI-KS1
