Provides education and resources to advance healthcare and improve outcomes in a cost-effective way. Responsible for developing, conducting, coordinating and evaluating in-service programs, orientation, and continuing education for nurses and other team members. Develop educational policies and procedures. Serves as a resource person to staff, management, and providers. Ensure courses are offered to assist in meeting organizational goals.QUALIFICATIONS:Licensed to practice in the State of OklahomaBachelor's degree in nursing required, masters preferred3-5 years clinical experience in specialty area preferredCurrent BLS card or completion within 7 days of employmentACLS certification within 30 days of employmentPALS or NRP (depending on specialty area) certification within 90 days of employmentAbility to communicate effectively and function appropriately in stressful situationsCritical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal skills*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situationsDemonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and writeAble to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phonePossess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination
