A busy Urgent Care, Primary Care Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant, with experience in urgent care, emergency medicine and family medicine, to join our clinics! You will have the opportunity to provide healthcare services in the Severna Park, Canton, White Marsh as well as Halethorpe Communities.Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.Responsibilities:Providing primary care/ Urgent Care to patientsPerforming initial evaluation, including physical exams and patient observationsSetting up and monitor medical equipmentCommunicating test results to patients and their familiesRecording patient's medical historyAdminister injections and other medical procedures including: laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal and splintingProvide counsel and medical treatment to patientsEducate patients on overall wellness and health maintenanceDevelop and implement patient management plans based on lab results and/or X-raysMaintain a safe and clean work environmentQualifications:Previous experience in the Family Medicine, Emergency Room or Urgent Care settingFamiliarity with medical tools and equipmentAbility to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive xhyhwjd in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsJob Responsibilities: Evaluating/ treating Primary/Urgent Care patients Suturing ability Splinting ability DOT physicalsQualifications: Certified PAC Maryland Medical LicenseWorking Hours: Hours of operation Monday-Friday 8A-8P (12 hour shifts) and Saturday-Sunday 9A-5P(8 hour shifts)Skills: Suturing Splinting EKG Xray reading
