Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Position Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire Pay Range: • $27.75/hour (New Grad RN, no BSN) • $29.25/hour (BSN RN) • + Additional Pay Based on Experience Location: Liberal, KS 67901 Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Days & Nights Available) On-Call: No Float: Yes – Skilled Nursing & OB (Postpartum Care) Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Holiday Requirement: Every Other Holiday Patient Ratio: 6:1 Unit Size: 20 Beds Required Education & Certifications (Mandatory) • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (REQUIRED) • Active RN License (REQUIRED) • BLS Certification (REQUIRED – can be obtained within 6 months) • ACLS & PALS (REQUIRED – can be obtained within 6 months) Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory) • Strong MedSurg nursing fundamentals (REQUIRED) • Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment (REQUIRED) • Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care (REQUIRED) • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills (REQUIRED) • Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition (REQUIRED) • Experience with documentation and EMR systems (REQUIRED) • Strong communication and teamwork skills (REQUIRED) Preferred Skills & Experience • Prior MedSurg experience (PREFERRED) • IV Certification (PREFERRED) • Experience with admissions, discharges, and patient education Job Description / Responsibilities • Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a MedSurg unit • Perform patient assessments, monitoring, and interventions • Administer medications and manage IV therapy and wound care • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient education • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation • Float to Skilled Nursing and OB (Postpartum) units as required Additional Requirements • Must be comfortable with floating across units • Adherence to professional appearance standards (limited jewelry, no visible facial/body piercings beyond policy) • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays • Eligible for relocation bonus up to $2,500 (with receipts/proof) Pride Global Benefits Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
