Job Title: Front End Developer (Java Script, HTML, CSS) III Duration: Year-long contractLocation: Washington DC 20005 Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React.js to build responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop modern user interfaces, integrate backend services, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. Experience with Node.js, Go, or Python, cloud technologies, and modern web development practices is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js.Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript implementations.Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and usability.Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js, Go, or Python.Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, UX teams, and engineers to define and implement new features.Work with CMS platforms, eCommerce systems, and modern web frameworks.Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services.Build and support microservices and distributed systems.Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.Validate user input before submission to backend services.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Enable and configure required plugins to support website functionality.Support ongoing redesign, enhancement, and maintenance initiatives that improve customer experience.Identify technical challenges and implement effective solutions within project guidelines.Document technical designs, APIs, workflows, and implementation details.Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-8 years of experience in Front-End Development or a related role.Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.Experience developing backend services using Node.js, Go, or Python.Knowledge of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration.Experience with AWS cloud services.Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.Experience working with CMS and eCommerce platforms.Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, and debugging.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
