Job Title: Tax SupervisorLocation: Hybrid Remote with offices in Rochester, Buffalo, Ithaca, and Syracuse, NY - 2-3 days in Office Compensation: $80k - $105k base + Bonuses + 5 Weeks PTORequirement: 3-6 years of Public Accounting experience - 150 credit hours and CPA eligibility required - If you already have your CPA, even better!We are an accounting firm that has been around for over 40+ years and over 150 employees and growing. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of Public Accounting experience. Must have experience with either Middle Market and/or Large Company tax clients focusing on larger multistate, international, or complex returns.I'm also searching for Audit Seniors, Audit Managers, Tax Managers, and a Sr. Tax Manager - If you're looking for something new, please send and updated resume and a good time to chat to tim.ceballos@cybercoders.com.Position Overview:The Tax Supervisor is responsible for the completion of accurate and timely tax projects. This position will work on multi-state, multi-national, real estate, manufacturing (amongst other industries) companies. Majority of our small business clients are in the 1-10 million sales volume and middle market practice are closely held businesses in the $20 million $ 200 million+ sales. These Middle Market clients are going to be serviced by you and the team we build around you. Key Responsibilities:Supervise staff assigned to the tax department.Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual returns.Coordinate with clients to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.Ensure all tax returns are filed in accordance with established regulations.Resolve any client disputes related to taxes.Provide input into the development of tax strategies.Maintain a working knowledge of tax laws and regulations.Complete other related tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.5+ years of experience in a tax role.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Solid understanding of taxation laws and regulations.Proficiency with tax preparation software.Benefits
