A health services organization in New York is looking to add a licensedAdult Psychiatrist to join their growing Outpatient team in the Dutchess County on a Part-time basis. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Part-time Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (16h hours a week) Setting: Outpatient Responsibilities: TheAdult Psychiatrist will be responsible for: Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation and assessment Facilitatinggroup/family education and therapy Ordering suicide precautions Providingtreatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive and insight oriented therapy Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions Performingother duties, as needed Qualifications: Licenseto practice in the State of New York Board Eligible Certified inAdult Psychiatry Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI) Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number) Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programs Your privacy is important to us.
