Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. This full-time contract opportunity begins at the start of the 2026-2027 school year and continues through the academic year. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate and provide specialized instruction to a caseload of 10-15 students, working closely with elementary and high school learners with diverse needs, including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairments.What you bring:Valid Special Education Teacher certificationExperience or genuine interest in working with students from elementary to high school ageStrong understanding of a range of disabilities, especially OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairmentsAbility to provide individualized education within inclusive, general education environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work with general education staff, families, and support personnelCommitment to upholding best practices in special education and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom cultureYour responsibilities:Provide direct instruction and differentiated support tailored to each student's IEP goals, primarily in general education settingsCollaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and monitor student progressManage and maintain accurate documentation and records compliant with legal and school guidelinesServe as an active participant in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendationsDevelop and foster relationships with students and families, promoting engagement and advocacyTake your skills to the next level as you help students achieve their greatness in a supportive, collaborative school environment.
