Seamstress/Tailor

Responsibilities: - Perform alterations and repairs on clothing items - Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit - Sew, stitch, and hem garments using appropriate techniques and equipment - Replace buttons, zippers, and other fasteners as needed - Collaborate with customers to understand their specific tailoring needs - Provide recommendations and suggestions for garment modifications - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations - Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress is preferred - Strong knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction - Attention to detail and precision in workmanship - Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
