Project ManagerNYC Zone Office - New York, NY 10036Salary Range$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 Salary/yearDescriptionAir Stream AC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our commercial installation jobs in NYC and LI.In this vital role, you will oversee our commercial HVAC installation projects from the planning stage right through to completion, while ensuring that our team stays on track to bring projects in on time and within budget.Essential Job FunctionsReads and understands mechanical drawings, purchase orders, contracts, etc.Have knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and pricingReacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficientlyBrings projects to successful completion within budgetEffectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a fast-paced environmentHas excellent written and oral communication skillsFosters and maintains a positive team environmentFollows all procedures and protocolsBuilds positive relationships with peers, customers, and managementKey CompetenciesProficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, AUTO CAD a plusDetail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilitiesTop performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self and othersPassionate about Air Stream Air Conditioning and loves the brandHighly motivated, flexible, and positive, professional demeanorRequired Education and ExperienceMinimum five years' HVAC direct work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and executionProven experience in strategic planning and risk managementHVAC Journeyman, E02 and EPA Universal preferredClean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for mechanical contracting companies and by company insurance carrier(s)Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is expected to work in all weather conditions, both in extreme cold and heat.
