We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages across Southern California. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and travel assignments.ResponsibilitiesInstall, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and RomexInstall wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codesPull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipmentBuild, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systemsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctionsPerform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installationCoordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on scheduleMay perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foremanRequirementsA minimum of four years of experience in commercial constructionAbility to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern CaliforniaAvailability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as neededAbility to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairsComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weatherAbout The CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
